September/October BLOG

Hey yoooooooo!!! What’s up everyone out there? Recently, I had someone ask why I didn’t do a September blog. After I explained that I hadn’t realized anyone even read these, I told them that I have been super busy. I have bounced around a little with my day job, and I am finally getting settled. So, thanks for your patience.

As far as the djing stuff goes, gigs have been steady. Like I have mentioned in previous blogs, I am playing Thursday nights in the South Side at Finn McCool’s. Finn’s is located on 15th and Carson, and is a great time. Since midsummer, I have been playing on Thursdays and it has been consistently fun and busy. Not to sound too much like a commercial for them, but if you can’t make it on a Thursday check them out on a different night. I played a Saturday for a birthday party (HAPPY 30th SARA), and it was absolutely packed in there. My cousin, Tony G. (DJ Crush) from 5AE fame, has been on a rotating schedule with me on Thursdays since school started back up down there. So, stop down soon for the Thursday Night Takeover!!!

Lastly, a few thank you notes and congratulations. Thanks to Finn McCool’s for welcoming me a few Saturday nights ago. I had a great time. Thanks to all of the people have continued to tell a friend, pass on a card, or relay my contact info. You know who you are, and I really appreciate it. That’s the thanks, so time for the congrats! Congrats to Tim Brock (the mastermind of the website), from DesignByBrock.com on his recent engagement. Let me know about your plans for music. I know a good DJ!!!
